It's Christmas & we want a festive Christmas cover with an Atari, Speccy & C64 under a ruddy big tree covered in snow with all the trimmings, so i say to hell with the casual overseas buyer!1500graham wrote:People generally don't think much about imports or where things come from. A Christmas issue on the shelves in February would look dated and would likely be ignored by the majority of casual buyers.
It's the season for giving, so let's put the hardcorers first.[/quote]
Totally agree. Cant believe someone in Australia or the US who might get the mag a month or two late would be that annoyed if its a Xmas issue. Probably be happy as it'll bring back memories of great old mags back in the 80's at Xmas.
Like you say its a british mag after all and the majority of people buy it in the UK. Sounds like my council where they worry about a small minority rather than the masses !
I believe you'll find they worry about the magazine continuing to exist.

But they're not to know its the current issue for them unless they've seen the mag before and realise its not local. For all they know, its an old mag that's been lying on the shelf since December, unbought because its rubbish and without a more recent issue for the same reason.psj3809 wrote:Cant believe someone in Australia or the US who might get the mag a month or two late would be that annoyed if its a Xmas issue.
