Retro Gamer T-Shirts

Post by Darran@Retro Gamer » Tue Oct 09, 2007 9:34 am

We've been umming and ahhing about releasing a new range of T-Shirts, and wanted to gauge a little extra interest before we went any further.

So basically would you be interested in a T-Shirt and what sort of styles would you like?

When you say you're own t-shirt are you saying we could come up with designs?

Something using (with permission) iconic imagery, where the Retro Gamer brand doesn't swamp it, would perhaps be the way to go. The recent range of 2000 AD Ts is a good example of this. See here: link.

I like this cool design very much. Something like this would be great to purchase and wear. :D

I'd actually have "It's time to start running"

Or
The Running Mole

I always find that the prints on things like this are far too big for my liking.

This sort of size is about right. Any print bigger than this tends to turn me off regardless of what's on the shirt. Less is very definitely more, in other words.

I have tons of crappy t-shirts so I would like something a little more stylish. I hate how most band/game/promo t-shirts look like a fruit of the loom t-shirt with something stuck on it. I wouldn't wear many of them out of the house.

Maybe a v neck, or different coloured trim. Oh and a range of sizes. not just XL.

Sod it, probably easier if you get a designer in to do them. Vivienne Westwood maybe :)

Definitely interested in T-shirts. I've been umming and ahhing about printing a couple of T-shirts myself with some of those iron-on transfers you can print on yourself but I don't know how good they are.

As already mentioned, something other than just a plain T-shirt would be nice - I've always been fond of T-shirts with sleeves that are a different colour to the torso.

So, another "yes" from me then! :D and again, not just in L or XL... there are some little retro gamers out there as well y'know!

The t-shirt I got with my first subscription to the mag was a fruit of the loom one :D

I'd like to see one with John Ritman's versions of Batman and Head & Heels on.

Could they be polo shirts instead? I don't like t-shirts.

That's probably because they are! :D

You've got to do an Elite one. Something like Elite Retro Gamer or similar. :)

I don't think that's too bad, really!
