Darran Jones nominated for best videogames journalist

Post by knight_beat » Sun Sep 09, 2007 8:37 am

I haven't seen any mention of it in other threads. Darren Jones (or Darran as he is called by his mother) is shortlisted as a candidate for best writer on a specialist title.

Games Industry article

I think we can agree that the nomination is well deserved and he deserves to win. Good luck, Darran!

Darran Jones also appears to be a nice, cheerful, laid back sort of chap as well as deserving a nomination for his fantastic writing.

Fantastic, Darran certainly deserves a bit of recognition for his hard work on RG; freelancers aside, he 'is' the magazine to a certain extent.

Congrats Daz!

Tis true.

Always nice to get gaming into the mainstream press too.

Really hope Darran and Retro Gamer win. There's nothing quite like RG on the shelves.
