It's £5 for stuff we've already got. I might get it for the continuity of my collection but my cynical side is smelling cash-in. The publishers know the niche market won't be able to not buy it. Like waving heroin in front of a smack head.
Thoughts and prayers.

There's enough new stuff for me so I'll get it tomorrow.

Didn't get the first anthology 'cos there was almost nothing new.

Just got it today.

Basically its reprints of the old RG articles given a design remix which makes them look a lot better than when originally published.

Obviously not everyone will want to buy it, but I'm glad I did! :)

Oh I've got to get that one!

Sods law, I'm going on a long journey up north later on, but I've got the short straw and I'm driving! :(

Just got this and to be honest I'm a little disappointed. I'm not talking so much about the contents (although I'm surprised the Mobile Arcade article was included, and the Emulation Nation article is fairly out of date - several of the links mentioned are dead), but rather in the amount of ad pages inside. There are about a dozen or so. IIFC the original Anthology had no adverts at all and felt much more like a special coffee-table edition that this.

Not terrible, just not what I was expecting.

That's the thing though, it's going to appeal a lot more to some than others. Take the last two anthologies that came out. Depending on what mag you read, meant that one felt a lot fresher than the other.

Hmmm, a gamesTM/Retro Gamer Mega anthology, now there's an idea...

NOOOOOOO!

Just a GamesTM Anthology 2 please. The first one was excellent so the same thing with Imagines better design style would be FAB (just don't reissue the old one all fancied up though please, my bank account is struggling at the mo  ).
