Hi guys,
All this talk about the latest issue of RG makes me want to find my credit card and buy it. But the question is where do I do that?
Since I don't live in the UK, I can't buy it in the newsagents, but this was never a problem with the old RG, which I could order directly from Live.
Can't wait to see the mag, I'm really looking forward to catching up with the retro scene again!

I assume I will be able to subscribe online when the site is up and running?

I think subscriptions are supposed to be available on the RG website from Thursday.

I did ring Imagine today to subscribe, but they don't take orders over the phone, they suggested I photocopy the subscription page and send it in.
Oh well, fire up the scanner.

Question?
I have 2 more free issue to come - so if I subscribe NOW - would the free issues come first and the sub start automatically after them???

You can dictate a "starting from...." issue number. So you can pay now for 6 issues and in the "Starting from" box put "4" - then you'll get 3 free issues plus the following 6 issues

Right, I've subscribed (would have liked to be able to buy a few issues individually first, but okay).
I hope the subscription starts with the current issue and not next issue?

Thanks for that.
Looking at Darran's comment in another thread, it seems my first issue will be issue 20, but I'll cross my fingers and hope he's wrong.
I suppose my money won't be wasted exactly, but it would be disappointing if I've paid for the subscription and am still not getting the first issue, since it hasn't been possible to subscribe online before now.
(and it's still not possible to order it as a back issue, plus that is not only more expensive, but also impossible to do online so I have to call the UK to get it)

I think that most magazine publishers start subscriptions from the following issue.

Surely by "4" you mean "22".

It just seems silly though, what with not being able to subcribe online until
after the first issue is released though.
