I'm going to enjoy this feature. The Taito collections really opened my eyes to the various Space Invaders games that were out there!

Perspective Invaders, more like.

That pic gets odder the longer you look at it. Sadly "The Art Of Space Invaders" didn't make the final cut - even with 18 pages there just wasn't room for it in the end.

If you had said it was a cutout from the C&VG article I wouldn't have batted an eyelid...
