i've been thinking about this for a while now, but it's a bit like asking which polished turd i prefer... i'd have to say Xenon 2 but the Megadrive version that wasn't actually coded by the Bitmaps, partly because it's more playable and mostly for the irony. =-)
(And i bet that now i've come up with a "witty" answer it's too bloody late to get it into the mag!)

Cadaver. Definitely. Without a doubt. I spent a summer that I should have been outside getting fresh air playing it to write a walkthrough, before I even knew what a walkthrough was. It had maps and diagrams and everything.

I loved speed ball 2 on the C64, sucked at it, but loved it

The ST version doesn't do that. I had no idea what people were on about for ages when referencing that - I've still never actaully heard it myself.KoderKo wrote:Speedball II. Everybody and their brother recalls this classic. IIIIICE CREEEEAM!

I've never noticed it enough myself to ever be bothered quotiing it, consider it to be the same as any other noise in the game, always loved the music that plays over the 'win screen' after a game.
Oh and to this day i've never found out which version tells you how many goals each player has scored, it's shows it in a screenshot on the back of the box.
