I have issue 205, sorry I meant the next one, due on the 16th. Are the printers and other workers involved with the production of RG at work?
Thoughts and prayers.

Oh right, issue 206. Good question. I've no idea about the printers or the distribution chain, to be honest. But I'm guessing subscribers will get told by email if there are any issues, and that hasn't happened as far as I know, so I presume 206 will be printed as normal and distributed to the places that are still open, i.e. supermarkets.

That's all guesswork, though.

I don't get it - although maybe I'm just being thick. :?

I know about the issues that overseas subs on here have had, of course, but I've never had a problem with my UK-based sub in the 10 years or so that I've had it, and it's in my wife's name, so it's nothing to do with me writing for the mag. Even when I changed address everything went smoothly; there was no nonsense with it going to the old address or anything. Maybe I've just been lucky.

At any rate, I spotted a post on the Retro Gamer Twitter page this morning asking for subs to fill in a form with their current email address - if the subs department don't already have it, so that they can be kept up to date with any changes that are made to the delivery of their copies of RG.

I also sub to Fortean Times, and I got an email the other day saying that it might come to the point with it that subs are sent PDFs and then printed copies at a later date. But as I said, I've only got guesses about what might happen with printed copies of RG going forward. If I had to bet, I'd say 206 will be printed and distributed to wherever is still selling magazines.

“issues” word has two connected meanings making for a funny wordplay. It refers to physical printed copies of the magazine and to delivery problems arising eg. issue/problem/snag etc.

Blimey! Sorry of it was a bit cryptic :D

At least I though it was amusing! (and Retro Bob by the look of it) :)

You weren't being cryptic. :) I get it, some people have had a nightmare with their subscriptions. I thought it was mainly overseas readers, but I'm not on here very often, so I've probably missed a lot of discussions about problems people in the UK have been having with their subs.

Other than that, I've just noticed your feedback on my Uridium feature. Thanks a lot, I'm really glad you enjoyed it. :)

I'd hate to lose you a bet, Rory, but that's not the case. Please see this thread for our current plans.

Thanks, Nick. I knew there was a reason for why I don't gamble! :)

Great issue this month as it features many games I played on the original machines back in the days.

I especially appreciate this month's C64 Minority Report for featuring Aigina's Prophecy. I have been searching for this title for years!
Originally I played the game when I was tinkering with C64 emulation in the mid-Nineties (remember the 'C64S' DOS emulator, anyone?). It made a huge impression as it was unlike any other C64 game I had ever played. When moving to a new PC the game got lost and I forgot the title, so thanks for that.

That's cool, glad I helped you find it again. I only discovered it myself about fifteen years ago, when I started researching Chester Field.
