Yes, I go straight to my fave magazines site for the issue now, it is impossible to buy over the counter in Christchurch New Zealand now. Sad. But retailers in NZ screw the public over anyway putting high retails on issues that are actually the older (3 issue previous) issue. So easier to buy online. Although you can buy Imagine FX here still, it's the same problem.

But I digress. Looking forward to this issue for specifically MD Mini making of. Initial reviews coming through are praising this thing, saying it's the best Mini console so far.

Just want to say I loved the articles on the Mini Mega Drive, M2 and Roller Coaster Tycoon in this issue. Especially the M2 one, never knew who they were until I read this.

A web order shouldn't be taking that long, contact My Favourite Magazines customer service: contact@myfavouritemagazines.co.uk

First issue i've missed out on for a long time, and no word of explanation from Darren.

Screw ordering it.

There's an explanation in this very thread. Darran is editor, not the person responsible for putting every copy on shop shelves.

As I explained above, we've had a major distribution issue where stock intended for North America was inadvertently delivered to UK shops, which caused all sorts of problems. I'd like to provide a meaningful update, but I'm afraid I can't. All I can say is that issues are going into stores - I can't tell you which shops are getting them when, but people are beginning to find them with stickers over the original barcodes.

Issue arrived today after ordering a single issue.
Retro Gamer guide updated finally:-

http://www.parkproductions.co.uk/area/m ... ogamer.htm

Nice to see Lost in Translation return though never been a fan of Future Classic. Look forward to reading In the Chair with AMOS creator Francios Lionet - I really want to port one of my old AMOS games to Switch!

Dave Mirra was a fun game despite not knowing what I was doing controls wise. Opposite to Nick I was not a fan of licenced music in games (Crazy Taxi seemed to work) as it was seen as a cop out from not having original music (see Road Rash on PSP EA collection). I must agree with Darran (boo! :) ) that the music was too loud! Much preferred the excellent sound sample of the pedals & chain turning.

Sub arrived in New Zealand about 5 days ago, have to say that this is a top notch issue, every single page will be read. the M2 article in particular was brilliant, being a programmer geek guy I absolutely love pieces like that that delve into the technical side of things.

I used to buy mine in Canterbury Magazines in Cashel Mall pre-quake when I lived there.
Can still remember buying my first there - it would have been Load 54 with the Outrun over :)
Sad to here it's gone CHCH must've changed massively since 2011

You don’t need to apologise. I don’t see anger, I see passion for something you care about. Unfortunately, things like distribution issues are completely out of our hands and just as frustrating for us.
