In the chair - Vincent Baillet

Post by CrookieMonster » Thu May 09, 2019 11:59 am

Retro Gamer is interviewing French developer Vincent Baillet who used to work for Loriciel and Psygnosis (https://www.mobygames.com/developer/vin ... rId,38052/)

Does anyone have any burning questions they would love to ask him?

How aware were you of the great reviews Bactron got in the UK at the time of its release, and were the reviews that it got in British magazines all that important to you at the time or was the response of the French gaming press to the game of far more concern?

What machine was the lead for Turbo Cup and how did you go about programming the other versions.

Was there any challenging coding features needed for Turbo Cup and what is your favourite version?

The Matra Alice was a French built computer, essentially a clone of the TRS-80. The 32/90 refers to two different models.

Q: Were there any unreleased or unfinished games you worked on?

Q: Did you ever program for the Commodore 64?

Q: Which French programmers/designers did you admire?

Q: Which retro machine do you wish you had worked on?
