To be fair if there was an Amstrad action pamphlet I’ll join Senser in moaning about what a waste of money that’ll be :)
But wasn't the Amstrad just an upgraded Spectrum with crappy scrolling?
Have you seen the Batman demo for the Amstrad CPC?

The Amstrad CPC do it's best in 3D isometric games and nonscrolling games. But the machine can scroll well, a couple of examples below. Can the Spectrum do this?

Pinball Dreams

Star Sabre

Mission Genocide

I dont agree with the harsh trolling opening post. But yup its true that audio cd’s dont have perceived value anymore. Could as well have a digital download code or something. And the point about the thin paper quality in relation to few years back is true Im afraid. You cant make sneaking budget savings like that without people noticing. Im guessing people would be ok with a slight price increase if paper quality goes back to glorious past. RG is one of the few mags you can resell for decent money ;) better make it last.

I just binned the music cd as I’d never listen to it, As the mag interests me not the cd

I have a new boxed 8bittodo wireless usb SNES pad from Retro Gamer subscription rotting in the draw. A lot of people complained they took a subscription just for the pad and never received it.. I get the pad and don’t use it

Win some lose some I guess
