From The Forum issue 184 - Daytona USA

Post by NickThorpe » Wed Jul 04, 2018 5:04 pm

Good evening gang, I have returned to free your thoughts from the grey, fleshy vessel that carries them. That's right, it's From The Forum! This month, the question is:

Which is the best song from the clearly brilliant Daytona USA soundtrack?

If you need a refresher, check it out on YouTube - here's the original arcade music and the enhanced CD soundtrack for the Saturn.

My personal pick is Sky High, because of the weird warbly autotune-style effect the arcade vocals have. There's something about that that just really adds to the charm for me, although seeing how happy Takenobu Mitsuyoshi is singing Let's Go Away and King Of Speed does make it a hard choice.

As usual, answers will be placed in the office koala's food supply, and we'll print the ones he doesn't eat.
