Always loved Pac-Man!

As well as a couple of Pac-Man t-shirts, I also still have an LCD handheld of Pac-Land in perfect working order! :D

Ny favourite Pac Man was a type in from a magazine for my Oric. It may have been basic (in more ways than one), but being able to change it to create my own mazes and tinker with the ghost behaviour was a lot of fun in a time before level editors and game creation tools.

Pac Man for me was sticking your credit in and waiting your turn in the boys club. Hoping when you got on you performed as there would always be a crowd watching and hoping the school hard knock wouldn't come in and claim your last man.

I was pretty young when Pacman came out, I'm not actually sure I ever saw it in an arcade. I remember we had some sort of small hints and tips book for playing it which also (if my memory's correct) went through all of the ghost characters and their names. Anyone know what that was or heard of it? I've been after it again for years!

Thanks! Sorry, I'd forgotten I'd asked this question. Indeed, wow, the 1st PDF you linked to is almost certainly the one. Haven't seen that in years :) Thanks a lot for that link!
