Re: Tracking lateness
I recently renewed my subscription and asked whether I'll miss out on any issues. This is the response I got:
"Subscription number 48189xxxxx will expire with issue 191 (21.02.2019)
Your new subscription 48240xxxxx will commence with issue 193- unfortunately issue 192 is out of stock so we cannot send this to you"
Doesn't make sense to me since I just received 191 yesterday as part of my new sub.
Are people already meant to be receiving 192?

We've added a new subscription support information post to help anyone having difficulties with their issues - click here to read it.
We were made aware that the old thread had old information in it.
Please be aware that it is no longer possible for anyone in subscriptions to speak directly on the forum.
Regards,
Darran

In the very early days when Mark was sometimes around, he actually gave off the impression to honestly trying to help. But since he left and subscribers weren't even told that he was gone until months later, well... and it's not that talking to anyone in subscriptions via e-mail has been of help for an eternity now, so it's basically all the same anyway.
By the way, 191 still hasn't made it to my part of Germany so far (no surprise there) while the last two issues of Edge took just a week to arrive.

No wonder they don't want to come on the forum.

Re: Tracking lateness
Finally received my replacement copy of issue 190 in 10 days after my subscriber copy never arrived after 2 months(the new normal) that makes 6 straight subscribers issues never arriving.
Re: Tracking lateness
#192 snuck up on me today. 24 days after previous, and 13 after first posts in forum.
EDIT: Newsagent had it today (3rd). I thought they got their stock on Thursdays (i.e. before me actually).

That’s not too bad. I used to subscribe to an American football magazine from the US. Used to take longer to arrive than that frustrating I knowAntiriad2097 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 14, 2019 4:01 pm14 days from UK sale date for an overseas sub to arriveDarran@Retro Gamer wrote: ↑Thu Mar 14, 2019 12:13 pmWe've added a new subscription support information post to help anyone having difficulties with their issues - click here to read it.

Re: Tracking lateness
You're missing the point (which is also made pretty clear by the follow-up posts in the other thread): These imaginary 14 days have no basis in reality at all.psj3809 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 30, 2019 10:57 amThat’s not too bad. Pretty much everyone based outside the UK (except Northway, for whatever strange reason) can verify that their issues pretty much never arrived in that timeframe even when RG was still published by Imagine and delivery times have dramatically increased ever since Future took over. 3+ weeks is to be excepted for e.g. Germany at least and frequently it takes even longer. In my case, I still haven't received #191 yet (yes, the one from last month) and that's sadly not at all unusual.
Interestingly enough Edge gets delivered MUCH faster pretty much every month (little more than a week for the last two issues, in fact), so I'm inclined to put the blame on Future screwing up, probably to save a few pence on magazines that have less of a flagship status.
Re: Tracking lateness
Sanity check before I make a replacement request... have any US subscribers received issue #191? (Bitmap Brothers cover, February) Thanks.
Re: Tracking lateness
I'm on the east coast and no, have not seen 191 yet.
190 was about 5 weeks ago. I used to get a "your issue has shipped" email, but that stopped last November. So no clue when the magazine will arrive. Would be cool to get a heads-up.

Re: Tracking lateness
Gotta love it RG takes 2 months or more to arrive if it comes at all and XBOX Magazine takes about a week and I always get it then randomly today I get an envelope from future with an XBOX magazine from 7 months ago which I didn’t request as I never have issues receiving that mag I was hoping it was one of the many RG I’ve yet to receive. It’s a shame the service is so crappy and alot of time nonexistent because I really do enjoy the mag when I actually receive it which is very rare.

So.. 191 showed up yesterday.
And then, 192 showed up today.
Can only imagine what will appear tomorrow?
