#181 zoned into my mailbox today the 28th (Monday is an odd day for RG - it typically arrives on Thursdays). BTW, as usual the internal Norwegian mail is priority, but that is by Norwegian Mail and only the domestic part. Also note that I'm on a "rest of the world" subscription IIRC.
I don't know why I didn't think of it sooner, but it's actually kind of obvious why you're getting your issues so quick - Norway isn't in the EU, so the delivery most likely gets handled differently (as in: much faster)... d'oh.
Wonder if there are any subscribers in Antarctica - they probably get it well before you guys 8)

Got my copy of issue 180 on thursday the 24th May (Germany). Now the waiting for issue 181 begins. But why can I already buy issue 181 at the main station in Cologne?

So I sealed palstic bag arrived today from Future...

...which had the latest issue of Edge in it.

Which was released a week after the latest issue of Retro Gamer.

That makes the third or fourth month now that Edge has taken around two weeks to arrive, while in the same time period Retro Gamer has taken up to five weeks and never less than three.

Not all Future magazines are created equal, clearly.

Just got mine today. I hope this is not just a random glitch that it appeared so soon compared to the previous one.

My #181 arrived in Las Vegas 2 days ago on the 7th, and 3 weeks has been my average time for awhile now. Condition runs the spectrum each month, but the issues do arrive in a decent amount of time and have been since the problems with Future seem to have been fixed(At least for me in the US).

I'm still debating if I want to renew or not, as I only have 2 issues left on my current subscription.

I'm kind of flabbergasted - issue #181 has started to arrive in Germany as of today, which I'd never have though possible after the last few months. Still took significantly longer than my Edge subscription once again, but obviously a massive improvement compared to most of the rest of the year. Now if only we could be sure that this will continue, but based on the statistics it sadly seems more likely to be just a positive exception from the rule... we'll see.

So for issues released in 2018 so far, this is how long it took to reach Germany from the UK on sale date:

#177 - 33 days
#178 - 21 days
#179 - 30 days
#180 - 34 days
#181 - 23 days

That's still quite crazy for Germany. In contrast- granted I'm not a subscriber and buy individually on a case by case basis- I generally wait 18 to 24 days to New Zealand, with the occasional one going to 30 to 40 days for a freakish time delay.

But I am finding it becoming the norm now to wait a month for online items, books especially, from the UK and US. And this is a recent thing, probably the last year. Prior to that it would take 7 days, including weekend days, for airmail from the UK for RG magazine, books, CDs etc.
I was putting it down to sign of the times- less workers doing more work in conjunction with the expansion of people ordering online more and more. I still think that's the case for the most part waiting for things down here- But for Germany, especially when you have Edge delivery times to compare it to- there seemed to be two systems of delivery. Hopefully they get this sorted for you, your stats don't show that yet, 1 in 3 taking the early 20 days to arrive, the others over a month.

The sites I order from in the UK, particularly video games (NZ Game Shop) and books (Book Depository), they send items in bulk to save on shipping costs, so you have to wait until the next bulk order goes out, hence it taking several weeks these days

Issue 181 arrived yesterday, 13/6, Brisbane Australia. Quickest one so far for me I think.

Yeah I've found Book Depository of late has got to about a month wait.
