Re: Tracking lateness
Yeah, I have to wonder what is going on behind the scenes, as on the outside looking in, it appears to be NOTHING! LOLkiwimike wrote: ↑Thu Apr 26, 2018 4:51 pmVery fair point- it's very quiet after one comment one or two posts in saying what a good idea this topic was!Boulder wrote: ↑Sat Apr 21, 2018 4:58 amFortunately the magazine doesn't get old even though it arrives very late. But it's still not an excuse - and I'm not very happy about the fact that no one from the subscriptions department is taking part in this discussion. After all, getting the magazines to the readers as fast as possible should be a top priority.
But, if subscriptions is looking in to matters, how long will saying the same things each week with little to no results help in regards to any level of trust? Normally when dealing with issues like this, it can create a divide within a company, as some on the lower end, may not agree with the higher ends side of pinching pennies. Subscriptions can't come out and say management doesn't give a damn, as then they would no longer have a job. But coming here daily and saying nothing new, is going to have the same effect, if not worse, as then no one will trust said info(just becomes lip service).
So in that case, I don't want to throw anyone under the bus(who may be trying their best), but the issues being stated here seem to not be getting fixed, one way or the other. I've been getting my issues in a timely fashion for awhile now, but the damages have been a real issue lately. I have maybe 3 issues left on my subscription and I can't see any reason to renew at this point, especially with the lack of communication, as it speaks to a larger issue not being shown or discussed. My current plan is just to go back and buy local unless some super renewal offer arrives(which doesn't seem likely).
BTW, has anyone in the US seen issue #178(Goldeneye) at Barnes & Noble yet? I need to re-buy that issue, as all my replacements came very damaged as well as my subscription copy. I haven't bought an issue at retail in awhile, so not sure what the going rate is, so once I buy #178(if I can find a copy), I'll decide if renewing is an option.
And for the record at hand, my issue #180 arrived yesterday here in Sin City USA!
Re: Tracking lateness
I expect my issue to arrive in about 2 weeks from today because I live so far away, on the other side of Europethegamesnotoveryet wrote: ↑Fri Apr 27, 2018 6:31 amAnd for the record at hand, my issue #180 arrived yesterday here in Sin City USA!

Re: Tracking lateness
My theory is that everyone at Future is so busy sending daily "buy something on our website before the offers are gone!" emails along with snail mail reminders to renew subscriptions that they have no time to bother with clearly nowhere near as important things like issues taking a month to arrive in central Europe.

Re: Tracking lateness
Something in the letter box from future today and thought it was 180 so was gonna come on here to praise the fast delivery.
I opened it and it was a replacement of 178 which was posted on the 20th March

Re: Tracking lateness
Anyone down under received 180 subscription issue yet? Its been 6 weeks since 179 arrived for me and nothing so far - looks like 179 turning up on time was more luck than anything improving.
Re: Tracking lateness
Not yet. I'm hoping that it'll arrive sometime next week, since it's been available in newsagents for a while now. Last issue arrived earlier than usual, other ones were arriving closer to the end of the month.
Re: Tracking lateness
Just showed up for me in New Zealand this morning. Looks to be a cracking issue too.
Re: Tracking lateness
180 arrived to me in Melbourne on the 14/5

Is he still on holiday? It's been over two months and ZERO answers.Darran@Retro Gamer wrote: ↑Sat Mar 03, 2018 10:59 amMark is on holiday. He'll answer your questions when he comes back.
And no, I didn't get 180 yet to Finland. Ever since the change of publisher, the magazine has been here ONCE "on time", which is about two weeks after it's out.

I last spoke to Mark on March 5th, and he had just returned from holiday at that time.Boulder wrote: ↑Wed May 16, 2018 6:55 amIs he still on holiday? Just got a mail titled "Issue 181 is now on sale!".
Great. Good for you. When will I get issue 180?
