I have quit RG after almost 15 years for reasons of space. I'd like to read the latest issues in digital form, but I really can't find where to buy them on the website...could anybody help me please ? I keep finding only the subscription page for the print version.

Thank you.

Sorry about that - it's a function of being on the old Imagine design, which used to link back to GreatDigitalMags.

You can find digital editions of the magazine at the following locations. Some are locked to individual devices/programs, but there should hopefully be something you find useful below:

Zinio
Pocketmags
Read.ly
Amazon
Google Play
iOS

I'm the same- I have sold a lot of my collection for reasons of space, and kept the bookazines and favourite issues. I still buy ones I really like the look of from the online store. And like you think a e subscription would suit. Which makes me a little sad as I don't want to see physical media die be it magazine book music or movie- but ultimately I can't keep an entire spare room full of magazines.

Yay arrived today, a quick flick through shows plenty of interest to read. To top it off two of my posts here have been immortalised forever, didn’t see that coming.

The greatest game system of all time, no big surprises really.

I believe that in the feature the Apple II came in at an achingly close #31. Please confirm my suspicions are true Darran.

I'd imagine nick will put up the final list. We'll let everyone discuss the top 30 for the time being.

where was the poll conducted i never saw that?

seems as if the results have been skewed a bit. No way objectively Amstrad CPC should be on the list. Even other 80s home computers like Apple 2, Atari, BBC Micro & MSX had way more original games. Not just inferior ports from other systems

Right here.

With the forum (and mag) being predominantly British, there was no way the Apple 2 was going to feature heavily. Too expensive, too niche, a thing you'd maybe see at school, and if you were lucky you'd play some ropey edutainment title. The cheap home micros were bound to beat it out. Sheer volume of ownership for those unlucky enough to own an Amstrad means it will always end up in these lists. I guess it warrants a mention for bringing monitors to UK homes, even if they were mostly green screen.
