On the one hand this could possibly be a pop at another forum member and is in poor taste. On the other hand it proves you've got terrible taste in games.
Either way it doesn't do you any favours :)

Dropzone. I did not play it back in the day. I first played it about 10 years ago. To me, it is THE stand-out game on the C64.
If you're impressed with it on the c64, you should try it on the A8.

I did. I thought they were virtually identical. So I would give the same answer to the best Atari 800 game.

My favourite Commodore 64 games

Spirit of the Stones Got the real deal a C64 as it was intended to be! I've always said it is one of the greatest games that ever got made, it was BRILLIANT! It was never beaten in its genre (2-D side-scrolling haunted house)

Jack Attack a crab that enjoys squashing balloons

Gem X the bunny girls make me smile widely like the man in my avatar.

Mad Doctor

Feels way before its time with the amount of stuff to do! This includes roaming around a village breaking into hospitals to steal equipment, cutting down corpses and looting graveyards, popping up in the tavern through a secret passage that leads from your castle.....all the while avoiding an angry mob and the police who are all out to stop your crazy monster building experiments! A great game! :D

Being a Spec Chum I only only rarely ventured over to the 'Dark Side', but nonetheless I enjoyed playing games like Excalibur, The Human Race, Gumshoe and Talladega.

This is incredibly difficult for me, so I'll just list the first 5 games that pop into my head -

Bruce Lee - Extremely addictive and fantastic in two player, especially when you discovered you can play as Yamo while you wait for your turn.
World Games - Some mates, some joysticks, lots of augments!
Creatures - Impressive platform action, blinking hard though.
Infiltrator - Loved the different styles of game play and the spy story line
Airborne Ranger - The tape loader was a nightmare, but the game play was worth it. A precursor to the various FPS games of today

I always had a soft spot for Typhoon and the first Transformers game despite being pathetic at both!

Most likely missed the publication deadline with this, but...:

Paradroid [Heavy Metal edition] - one of the very best games in history on any format.

Impossible Mission - superb in every way; though I have yet to complete it. "Stay a while..." - Yes please!
