Kwah was an interesting game back in the day but I never really got anywhere with it! Interesting read though and I may even boot up an emulator to give it a go.
The Scramble article was good and I thought I was going mad when I saw that very small list of machines it arrived on. Then noticed all the ripoff versions

Played Skramble on the Vic20 and Penetrator on the Speccy and C64.

Excellent variety of articles once again. And welcome to Lee Garbutt with his piece on the Super Game Boy.
I'd just like to follow up Kieren's excellent Bally Sente piece with a look at the C64 conversions, which were handled by Capcom USA:

I've flicked through it. Nowhere near as good as previous issues for me. Not much of interest to my tastes.
Also since when is 'The Hobbit' an obscure text adventure? Surely there are enough little known text adventures out there without including 'The Hobbit' in Minority Report. The Hobbit is one of the most famous text adventures surely. It could be included in a Majority Report.

The new feature "The Impact of..." is a great idea.

yeah good to see text adventures in the mag , but probably the most well known 8 bit (The Hobbit) and most well known 16 bit (The Pawn) text adventures could probably have been replaced with less well known good text adventures like Scapeghost , Subsunk or Urban Upstart on the 8 bits and Knight Orc, Plundered Hearts or Planetfall on 16 bit machines.
Btw for anyone who likes 16 bit Infocom text adventures, Plundered Hearts is one of the best; quite short, relatively easy but a joy to play.
Still need to get around to playing The Rats and Lurking Horror myself.

Ohhh...a couple of standout interests for me this month. Text adventures coverage is most welcome, as is a feature on one of my old fave arcaders Scramble and it's effect. Looking forward to a feature on composer Uematsu...love features with creative artists from the industry

The text adventure article looks good. I remember playing the Dallas game many years ago. It had a part where you could get attacked by a giant rat. Nothing like that ever happened in the tv-series lol.
Ken sent me.

Enjoyed the Virtua Fighter making of. I would like to read more on the 32X port from producer Michael Latham. Perhaps an idea for a new regular feature detailing the porting of games to lesser systems like an expanded Conversion Capers that details a single port. eg. ZX Midnight Resistence. "Porting Problems"

Speaking of text adventures, Personal Nightmare is one that I reckon should be covered, well its not actually a text adventure but was one of the first adventures that used a kind of real-time, but also had a text parser. There's never been quite a game like it and I think its interesting enough to get you guys to look into and do a big big article on it, just for me.
But seriously its an overlooked classic in my opinion, the only thing that ruined it really was the unnecessary deaths that made it a little too, well extremely, difficult.
