Gradius on the NES (without using the Konami cheat!) and it's probably the most difficult game I've completed too!

Raiders Of The Lost Ark on Atari 2600 , I think it was possibly the first game to have a proper end to it

If my memory serves me well, it was Terrormolinos , a text adventure by Melbourne House sometime around 1986 or '87. It actually introduced me to the genre that I continue to cherish to this day!

I think it was Gostbusters on the C64. Either that or Bruce Lee anyway. Or was it Altered Beast arcade. It may have been Golden axe though. Nope, sure it was Dragon Ninja. Could have been Superman arcade. Yes it was definately one of those, I think.

I've finished virtually nothing. That's the reason I can still play 20-odd year old games today!

the first game I completed "on my own" that I recall is Jack the Nipper. I had a play guide that was in the Australian "Amstrad User" magazine, & I sat there till I clocked the game. Only took me 2 goes: the first go I bombed, but the second I clocked the game with a few lives to spare.
