GoldenEye was stunning and one of my fav games ever, however it was the mashup of adventure and racing in Diddy Kong Racing that really blew me away. The fact they only announced it right before it was released was pretty amazing even back then and helped build in to that whole mystery around Rare of being a bit of a special developer.

Conker's Bad Fur Day stands out to me even today, one of the best looking N64 games with a high degree of polish expected from Rare's titles. The parodies may be lost on a newer generation, but the humor that does hit, hits hard. An absolute gem.

Goldeneye was the only Rare game I ever played on the n64. The others just didn't appeal to me at the time (was about 16/17) when I had one
For me the n64 was all about ISS and the WCW games

A big foul mouthed shout has to go out to Conkers Bad Fur Day, just for pushing the limits of the machine and what was 'morally' acceptable.

For me, Goldeneye. Really the first console FPS that I enjoyed. Multiplayer was truely fantastic and still holds up today.

Goldeneye for me, both single player and multiplayer.
Followed very closely by Blastcorps.
