Just turned up....

Love the cover. Nice Star Wars article. Always preferred Starstrike than the official Star Wars game on the Speccy.

Greatest Star Wars games ever, good month for me as i'm a big star wars fan and love many of the games.
Saboteur - looks great, epic game on the Speccy.
Acclaim - Looks interesting, played a fair few of their games back in the day.
History of the Games Series - Looks really good, these were great games on the C64 i must admit !
Videopac G7000 - Hardly know anything about this, looks interesting though
Walker - Never heard of this, had an Amiga but must have somehow missed this one
Legacy of Half Life - Looks great, epic game, great memories playing this
Mike Hally - Didnt realise this was the guy who did the classic Star Wars game

Great issue for me personally this month, roll on issue 150 !

Great variety once again, particularly liked Ian's piece on Half Life and the story of Acclaim.

Good issue from what I can see but: the paper is still sh*te. It's so flimsy that I've ripped 2 pages by just turning them. And again, most of the pages have a ripple effect like when you print a photo at home on cheap A4, especially if it's a full page of coloured or black print (page 20-21) are the worst.

I don't understand how you guys can spend your time writing great articles, accompanied by often beautiful screenshots and lovely artwork and allow it to be displayed on such a poor quality canvas.

It's a real shame

Waiting for me when I got home from work.

Had a quick skim thru it, can't wait to read it properly!

Although I do concur with the comments ref the paper, it does leave a lot to be desired.

From a quick flick through, the Acclaim, Half Life and Saboteur articles look like they will be my highlights this month.

I'll also add the cover is fantastic this month but it leaves me wondering what will be done for next months special 150th. It's kinda frightening really, I'm convinced that the 100th issue was only a year ago!

Good issue bought it mostly for the Saboteur and Star Wars article glad you covered both the Plus 4 and C16 versions of Saboteur.. On Saboteur you show a photo of the Ninja sneaking in on a Dingy and climbing the dock.. This never happened on the C64 or +4 versions so I assume it was exclusive to the Spectrum? The +4 version did feature the Helicopter and the Tram's I assume different programmers for the commodores so left the dinghy out lazyness!

Great cover - I think I remember the Star Wars Arcade game almost as much as the film.

Saboteur was also a real addiction of mine, so please to see it in there.

And a tip of the hat to the From The Archives as always - these are companies I know nothing about - so its good stuff

We were considering 150 covers to represent the chosen games, but thought riots would start if readers saw The Last Of Us on the cover :)
