Spent most of this weekend reading this issue.

Bloody marvellous, I enjoyed every article.

Yeah completed the arcade version of that, the final levels are a bit samey and the last stage with boss after boss after boss gets dull but despite all that its still an epic arcade game

Going back to it again made me realise how terrible I was at it, dread to think how much finishing the game would have cost me in actual real credits!

Yeah i hate freemium apps as they're just programmed to get money from you, as a kid i never realised how many of these arcade machines did the same thing, the aim is for them to take your money so some games (Ghost n Goblins etc) were just rock hard. In the arcades i remember getting to level 2 of Space Harrier but that was it. Years later i'm pressing the 'coin' button to keep playing but damn so many of those old arcade classics were just evil really as the skill level was such that you would have to keep adding coins constantly
