Introducing The Amiga Book

Post by Darran@Retro Gamer » Tue Dec 23, 2014 6:18 pm

Hi there Amiga fans. I'd like to tell you about our awesome new Amiga book that will be on sale from 31st December.

The Amiga Book is 180 pages of Amiga goodness and features some of our greatest articles, from Lemmings, to Cinemaware and The Secret Of Monkey Island.

I've personally hand-picked the content and also added articles on key games that I felt were missing, including Moonstone, Flashback, Syndicate, Zool, Rainbow Islands and Turrican. I've also replaced the multiformat images so that only Amiga screenshots are used. Over 250 images have been included.

The Amiga Book will be priced £9.99 and is available from 31st of December. You can buy it from all good retailers or directly from the Imagineshop.https://www.imagineshop.co.uk/bookazine ... retro.html

I have no affinity with the Amiga so will give this one a miss. I'll hold out for the PC Engine version

Is there anything new in it or is it just a collection of the articles that have appeared in the mag over the course of the years?

Out of 180 pages how much is new other than the few games Darran mentioned?

Edit: ah info is now in the link, there's not enough new for me sorry, I'll just flick through the mags for the old articles if needed.
