Theres a new one - Retro Gamer Annual 1

Bought the eMag version of it, obviously lots of articles from the past year but its good to have them all in one issue. Dont know why they didnt call it Volume 8 or whatever the next number was. But i'm a sucker for these compilations

Cover reminds me of that new Commodore Commpendium book

Would like to see a Back to the Eighties compilation, could even be of interest to non-gamers too.

Another idea would be to split the MD/SNES & C64/ZX bookazines into 4 seperate issues an release them each month as a box set collect'em-up. The possibility of adding more machines to the collection later on too.

Think the combined speccy/c64 bookazine worked well. Probably risky to do then seperately as a printed mag

You can buy seperate c64 and speccy books via the app

There have been some nice discounts on some of these on the webstore of recent, I left it too late for some of the most recent ones though, which now show sold out, doh! Is the annual actually a collection volume following on from the last one or is it just stuff from the past year? assuming there is nothing new in it?
WANTED: Mario Party 3 on N64 (just the Box only) ANY SNES GAMES, OR EMPTY SNES BOXES, INSTRUCTION MANUALS or WHITE INNER TRAYS.

The Annual is replacing the collection going forwards. It is still reprinted material.

50 points deducted from Gryffindor for the use of 'going forwards'.

So, will there only be one collection a year now? And how will I know what order they go in if they're not numbered? ;)

I'd be a little disappointed if you were to reprint the Mega Drive/SNES magazine as I paid over the odds on ebay for my copy.

You cant be disappointed though as i'm sure there must be a mag or something which you wanted which was suddenly reprinted. If theres a mag you missed out on and it was reprinted you would be happy (despite other people maybe buying it for a high value on ebay before ?)

That's not happened to me. But of course I'd be happy if I was on the other side of the fence! :P

So, any official word on which bookazines will be reprinted and when? Safe to say people want them.

Not at the moment. I pass on the information to the bookazines department and a decision will be made from there.
