Sorry for the change of topic
We're doing an article on the TurboGrafx-16 (the rebranded PC Engine)
We'd love to know what your personal favourites are.

It's a very hard choice indeed, the TurboGrafx has such a superb library, but I going to go with Blazing Lazers - my favourite vertically scrolling shooter on any system. A great pack-in choice for the European machine.

Drunken Master if only for the flying side kick sprite which is the best sprite of all time, apart from Rastan himself perhaps. Actually though the game is rubbish, so I will settle for Salamander. A bit too fast but otherwise top notch.

Issue 135 sounds like a good one!

PCE library is quality full stop. R type would still be king for me, street fighter also just shows how superb this console is.

It has to be Bloody Wolf for me. Quality run and gun action.

R-Type for me. Not a PC Engine original game, but a fantastic conversion that showed what the small plastic box from NEC could do.
Alongside Out Run, Strider, Street Fighter 2 and many other conversions that blow the ones for other platforms out of the water.

I'm a big fan of late 80s & early 90's arcade conversions, especially shoot em ups & the PC Engine had a lovely selection, my favourite would probably be Parodius Da!

I would have absolutely loved a PC Engine back in the day, I wish they had have been available in the UK without importing Grrrrrrr.

Down to 2 games for me

Super Star Soldier - Quickly became one of my favourite shmups when I got my hands on it. The soundtrack always gets me pumped too!

Legendary Axe 2 - Feels like a cross between Rastan and Castlevania and is great for it. Lots of people prefer the first game but this is far more enjoyable for me.

I also feel the need to mention Volfied is fantastic on the system

The port of Street Fighter 2 is fantastic but my favourite title is Devil Crash. It may only have one main table but the additional "boss" tables, the horror visuals, the physics and the music just make this a stand out title for me.

I will add i'm not a huge pinball fan but I often find myself playing this for hours straight (despite being awful at it!)

If it's the TurboGrafx-16 then it's Ordyne, if it's the PC Engine then it's Mr Heli.

I am absolutely delighted to see more coverage on the PC Engine/Turbografx 16!!

So many wonderful games to choose from but I would have to go for Street Fighter II Champion Edition. How they managed to fit everything on that Hucard I will never know, my favourite home version of the game.

It has to be Bomberman '94. The best version of the best game in one of the best franchises of all-time!

R-Type was jaw dropping! I remember my C64 owning mates thinking I had an arcade cab in my house

Played a lot of Bonk's Adventure & Revenge, Dungeon Explorer, Chan & Chan, but R-Type was the top of the pile.

How about a game screenshot quiz? Amiga, DOS, Megadrive and Commodore 64.
