Post by kelp7 » Thu Jun 19, 2014 7:17 am

Is this out now? Supposed to be in the shops today isn't it? As a subscriber, i've not received it yet, wondering if anyone else has.

We're seeing other subscribers have received their copies today, so hopefully you should all be receiving your mags.

Went down to Asda's and picked up RG this morning, another classy issue even of some of the pages have the colours slightly offset making a nice kinda 3D effect.

What a good issue this month.
Vic 20 coverage to keep those guys happy.
Top 25 N64 games to keep those guys happy.
Hell, there is even a C16 game in there! Surprisingly no mention of the C16 version in the Yie Ar Kung Fu article though. Surely that has to go down as the worst conversion?

Back To The Nineties has a nice balance to it this month.
Excellently written articles on Theme Hospital, Crazy Taxi (although I was surprised by how many pages it got), Amstrad retro and the superb Super Cars games for the Amiga.

I really enjoyed the football games article but I can't be the only one who had a bit of a chuckle at the positive coverage you give to the Kick Off games (featured in Five Essential Games).
I'm surprised Dino Dini even agreed to talk to you after the previous hatchet job on his games.

Best issue in many months.

Amstrad version of Yie Ar Kung Fu better than the C64 version :? I've had a good go at 5 versions of the game and umm - really?

Cracking issue so far though. Wizball & Super Cars.. most excellent :D

Firstly it's best looking version (not best). Secondly, I wrote it
Apologies about the C16 omission, I'm sure I had mentioned it on the end of the C64 piece.

The C16 version was pretty horrible . . .

We are almost a page in and no one has started bitching yet... refreshing!

Had a quick look through, looks like a good issue.

Wasn't there an A8 version of Yie Ar Kung Fu?...

There's a nice double page spread on 'Wizball' in the latest edition of Retro Gamer Magazine but...

"(Wizball) had perhaps one of the most bizarre endings of all time and marked the end of Ocean as it's (Sensible Software's) publisher."!?

So what about:
