Re: New forum - issues and complaints
determined this error has got something to do with images.
so what is going on here?
why is it half the time I try to post replies I get the method not implemented error. then I go into another thread and try and post an image in the response and it works? what is it about certain images that causes the error?

Re: New forum - issues and complaints
It isn't certain images.
You can try for yourself.
Next time it happens, delete the image link and make the post with just text. Then make another post in the same thread with your image link.
Almost always works, though occassionally you'll get the problem twice in a row.
The image WILL post though.

^^^ Does this same trick work with the 403 Forbidden error though? I've tried posting some images separately but this bloody white 'Forbidden' screen won't budge.
Retro is a state of mind, and cares not for your puny concepts like dates and calendars.
Re: New forum - issues and complaints
I found out how to tame the idiot forum: Remove the "http://" part of any link and it will be accepted - the forum will even add it back in!

What's with the MASSIVE banner ad for Killjoys at the top of the forum? I've got a decent sized high res monitor and the forum is only in half the screen it's so big!
I wouldn't mind, but the current season of Killjoys has been well ropey.

I think someone has funked up something here. I have a picture or something ('site_logo.jpg') at the top that is not loading and the borders have jumped inwards (but they are back to normal again).

Seems like a good way to lose some regulars, tbh.
Sad to see.

Guess we now can't buy or sell anything or talk about such controversial things such as what we watched on tv? And not give us any warning or right of reply? Way to kill the forum guys

Where has off topic gone?
wasn't on much last night or at all today, just logged in to post in the book thread and it's all gone!
Q & A and High Scores are both pretty much dead parts of this forum so we could just colonise one of those for off topic?

Re: New forum - issues and complaints
I don't know HD. I got a message from Spector(he's been banned from here - as was mentioned in the IRC thread) saying the Off Topic section has completely disappeared, I went on to check - and it had just gone. Other parts of the forum are still here. Do the mods know? Is it some sort of technical issue?HalcyonDaze00 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 07, 2017 12:42 pmWhere has off topic gone?
