Didn't they already say in the forums that the 3D0 feature would be in 122?

This issue looks amazing - although to be fair, I say that every month. Definitely love the design work on the WindWaker article, looks beautiful. Glad that Coin-op Conversions is back too, thats one of the best parts of the mag IMO.

Some nice stuff this issue... never played Wind Waker but it looks like a quite extensive and interesting feature so I'll give that a go. Looking forward to reading the Bombuzal, Compilation and Rambo bits too... Adrian!! Woops, wrong film...

You really should rename this thread and merge it with the other one!

For those that haven't seen it, here is the cover:

Sorry, I am quite new to Retro Gamer and didn't know that all posts about an issue go into the Sneak Peek thread.

I do like that cover though, very fetching.

I'm sure this has been mentioned already, but why does it say Wind MAKER on the cover?

EDIT: Nevermind, I've been put right. I didn't get that at all. Clearly I shouldn't drink on a school night...

Really nice cover, looks to be a really good balanced issue.

I'm confused is this the official feedback thread or a sneak peek thread??? :S

A much much better issue for my kind of thing. This has some cracking content.

The Compilations section was brilliant! So many great memories :D (and that Thalamus compilation... YES, speccy owners should definitely be impressed!!)
English Software - great read. Had most of their C64 games. Not exactly stunners but some very playable games. (Knight games was better on the C64 though  )
Gribbly's day out - quality :D Braybrook was a C64 god!

Have save the rest for the weekend at Expo......

(and must mention that although I have little interest in Zelda, that cover is rather nice :D )

Great issue, and some great design work in there.

Hope people enjoy the Bombuzal piece, personally I enjoyed so much of this issue - Craig's guide to RPGs was nicely done, and Marty's Fairchild piece filled in an interesting slice of history.

Its a good issue overall.
Nice cover.
Lovely piece on English Software.
Plenty of good stuff to get my teeth into.
Another article on old Atari games... yawn... but each to their own.
A couple of nitpicking errors I found.
In the Windwaker piece im sure it says Windwaker was the only Zelda game on the GC, obviously that's not the case even if we discount the collectors disc because they are N64 emulated we still have Four Swords and Twilight Princess, you cant even say that Windwaker is the only Zelda GC game not to be converted to another console now the HD version is out.
In the Strider piece it says that Strider on PC engine only has one extra level... im afraid it has two extra levels.
A good issue none the less.
Well done all. :D
