One tabletop game per month bought from ebay, take the pics, write the article, sell it on again to fund the next month's one (or at least bi monthly).
1 page a month is all I'm asking, just a little love for these things.

There's some great homages on iOS now. Search for Galaxy Invader and also Retrofox (Firefox). Great old old skool games

For me, I haven't really seen much Game Boy Coverage (I joined in the 90th Issue though).
Hardware wise that is niche...I'd say possibly the Neo Geo Pocket and Wonderswan.
Not many of us know of the latter's library all that much.
SEGA, Falcom and "Niche" Nintendo fan

It'd be nice if the machines featured weren't just forgotten about the day after the feature is published.
How about a multi-format feature where some outstanding old games for old systems are dragged out and re-reviewed for modern playability? I know there's "Minority Report", but it tends to focus on one platform at a time, and seems to me to get confused with "Unconverted" at times. Not every game needs a five-page in-depth feature or two-page graphics spread. How about following up the two-page screenshot of a reader contributed review with a page or two of pro reviews with smaller screenshots, maybe four or five to a page like the latter days of YS or SU? Then at least you could squeeze in the odd nod to the Oric, ST, Neo-Geo, Beeb, Jaguar etc. that you often go months without.

PC's from the mid to late 90's. Every year they seem to spec up and also go down in price.
Gameboy Advance/Color
Arcade systems that ran video games in the 80's and early 90's would be interesting too.

Yes something for CPC and 6128 Plus / GX4000 would be great. But IMHO a lot of people would buy it. 500 pieces would be a realistic number for copies to be made.
To be honest the only buyers of a CPC bookazine would be Amstrad fans. Not sure 500 copies would be profitable for Imagine. The ZX/C64 joint book had the appeal of both sets of fans, a CPC edition would be targeting a very low market. Maybe a digital only version could work? Still not the same thing has having a proper print copy.
Would like to see the GX4000 featured indepth hardware.
Well, I made the experience that a lot of people who don't even own an CPC support CPC development. Furthermore it's 8 bit an a lot of people have a broad interest.
In the CPC Wiki you have about 830 users, so 500 is kinda realistic.

Think it would be commercial suicide if Imagine did a bookazine just for the Amstrad. I loved the 80's and 8 bits but i wouldnt buy an Amstrad only bookazine at all. Think it was a good idea to combine the Speccy/C64 one, so the thought of JUST an Amstrad one is crazy.

What about another combine? Amstrad and Beebs? BBC Micro's, Master's and Electrons with CPC's and GX4000. I'd buy that.
500 copies ? Imagine would be at a loss if they produced a bookazine with a market of just 500 possible readers !!

and Amstrad PCWs and Amstrad PC 1512/1640. The 1512 had a nonstandard graphics mode - 640x200 in 16 colours in addition to CGA (crap). There were a number of games released for this special mode
