Just came through the door

Quick flick through...

Collector's Guide: Sega Master System
Capcom 30 years, 30 games
The Making of: Thief: The Dark Project
Taito: Space Invader feature
Myst Memories
Making of Styx
Making of The Lost Vikings
FTA: Naughty Dog
Story of Breakout

Looks to be a decent issue

my issue just arrived.

Poor cover (machine covers always are), the top half of the cover is quite good and looks very crisp and clean but then we have the master system stuck at the bottom, oh dear.

Capcom article is ace, was sure Strider would somehow be forced into top slot but it's good to see that the mighty Resident Evil 4 gets a deserved victory.

Lost Vikings
Rolling Thunder
Space Invaders
Thief

are all good, and I like the "Stealthily Does It" section of the Thief piece.

A good issue so far.

I've only managed to digest the first few pages thus far but wanted to give kudos to Iain 'Rougvie' Lee for a lovely piece that will no doubt resonate with one or two.

Got mine today! First thing I have to say is what a fantastic cover, this is one of the best in ages and really captured the Sega feel perfectly. 8)

Great issue all in all from flicking through it. I can't wait to read the Breakout article (my personal highlight) and also like the look of the 3D Games Minority Report, Tom Kalinske interview and Space Invaders anniversary piece.

It was, but I didn't do it in the end, John had already got several contacts under his wing.

Read it cover to cover, and I really like the cover.

Was really looking forward to the Lost Vikings piece, and it didn't disappoint. And all the features had a very distinctive look to them - well done the design team. (The only caveat would be the dark blue captions on a black background for the Thief article - difficult to read.)

And issue 118 is shaping up to be a good one too!

 i wasn't trying to be rude, the point i was trying to make is the whole lore of the series can be a bit complicated so someone who just played the game through would ask different questions than a fan who more immersed themselves in the gameworld exploring the levels and things like that.

i hope i've explained myself better now.

LOL confusion everywhere

Your post squeezed in somehow, I was referring to Merman reading RG from cover to cover before I've even had a chance to sit down!

Funnily enough John was trying to do a making of Lost Vikings for ages. Looks like you two swapped over somehow!

Lost Viking is just a rip-off of The Humans anyway . . . .

An article I keep pitching

Love the cover! Great pic of the machine and classic white squared background. Best cover this year. Had a quick flick looks good content too esp the master system feature, looking forward to the Flashback feature next Issue.
