I agree that too many reader reviews are just 'fanboyism' purely due to personal taste and not based on rational thought, but I still voted YES because I'd love to review Terminus by Mastertronic.

Presumably Darran is going to vet them before he publishes,so we'll either get a witty 'fanboy' review or we'll get a constructive one

Actually, if RG is determined to blight us with reader reviews, the odd Fanboy entry would mkae for great entertainment - can you imagine the fun we could have ripping the article and author apart on these here forums?

I voted Yes. Can't wait to submit some of my own reviews for unknown Amiga games and some PD greats.

I think thats where a Reader Reviews section would come into it's own. It would be risky for the staff to fill the magazine with info about games that few people have heard of, but a short Reader Review section could do just that.

In fact i'm off to write a review of 'R3 - The Art of Rocketry' right now!
