Worst games I've ever owned/played:

Rise Of The Robots - Mega Drive
White Men Can't Jump - Atari Jaguar
Kasumi Ninja - Atari Jaguar

While Rise and Kasumi are terrible games at least their playable. White Men Can't Jump though is the worst.

Definitely agree. The shooting bits were a travesty; I seem to remember doing the same shoot-out over and over because sometimes I'd get killed by one bullet when other times I would be able to absorb many more. All the while I was wondering why the hell I wasn't actually driving something. The driving itself was cool but utterly glitched as evidenced by the time I rolled a car and it fell through the road :|

Just a horrible, joyless game compared to the two PS1 games. Thankfully Parallel Lines and San Francisco were much better.
Loved how the game was mocked by Rockstar in GTA: San Andreas... "Tanner, you s*ck a*s!!!"

Switching to retro, I remember a lot of hype about Federation of Free Traders for the Amiga, with even some rave reviews... all of that for an abysmal Elite clone, not nearly as good or fun.

Each to their own but I think WMCJ is a right laugh in 4 player. Rise Of The Robots is totally unplayable though.

Just to prove I dont see the world through Texas coloured spectacles - Zero Zap on the TI99/4a is a particularly fetid turd of a game.

I recently played a Commodore 64 game I'd never heard of called Mondu's Fight Palace. I'm not sure if it's the absolute worst game ever, but I really didn't like it.

Kick Off 3 on the Amiga.

Kick Off 2 was such a great game, especially the World Cup 90 variant, that part 3 was a real kick in the nads when I bought it.
Thank god for Sensi.

Also Days Of Thunder (Amiga) and GTA IV on PC.
Just bores me too tears.

There are some terrible American Football games out there (Grid Iron and Touchdown Football on 8-bit) but to call all of them terrible is wrong.

10-yard fight is brilliant! One MAME game I keep returning to. And I HATE American football. 10-yard fight is tons of fun though, never gets old for me.

Again, there are bad wrestling games (Intergalactic Cage Match) and good wrestling games (Fire Pro)

Yes, but I suspect that even the good ones aren't going to appeal much to those who are fundamentally uninterested in the sport, and that's probably the point here.

Yep, appalling, thankfully Thor's output got a lot better, and I think it was around £6 quid too, which sounds much worse today if you factor in inflation, that makes it a hideous £17 in today's money.
