For those of us who buy the collected edition reprints, RG has published a new Atari 40th anniversary book

RG Atari 40th anniversary bookazine.

I head about this last week, RG certainly kept it quiet!

However when I sent in my local WHSmith I was sad to see they didn't have any and when I checked the Imagine shop it wasn't there either. So glad to see it's now in stock! 8)

Will be ordering it straight away.

I agree about it being kept quiet. I discovered it existed when I saw a picture on an ebay auction.

Is it all stuff that has already been in RG or some new bits?

It's the Atari features from RG but nicely redesigned to join together into it's own book.

Any chance of an Amstrad Edition RG? :D

Be a nice little book for the shelf. Might get it faster than the new Atari book...

at least it doesn't have to share its space with another platform, like the Commodore 64 book, 1/2 book was wasted for me.

Thats because this is covering EVERY Atari platform:

Atari 400/800/XL/XE
Atari 2600
Atari Arcades
Atari 5200
Atari 7800
Atari Lynx
Atari ST/TT/Mega ST
Atari Falcon
Atari Jaguar

If you include the ABC PC range then that is 10 different formats that Atari supported over the years.

Well the book mentions the Falcon and STe but doesn't cover the hardware or its games.

This will be following the ZX Spectrum/Commodore 64 book onto Zinio, I hope?

When you line it up like that I am rather excited!
