I was impressed by IO. A slick shooter the other 8bits probably couldn't do.

It was immense, absorbing, superb!

Also a great justification for the 1541C I had begged and pleaded for as a Christmas present...

I had a Speccy but I often came to play C64 games at a mate's home. I remember being amazed by Summer Games and Impossible Mission.
But if I have to choose one game, that would be Twin Kingdom Valley. After The Hobbit I thought it was the best adventure ever.
