Is it time for some PS1 coverage?

Post by rossi46 » Sat Jun 02, 2012 5:43 pm

Or more 32-bit articles in general? Would be nice.

Also would it be possible to, maybe sometime, ask Bernie Stolar what he was thinking?

Yes more PSX stuff would be great. Perhaps underappreciated classic SIlent Bomber?

I was hoping for less PS1 coverage, it gets more than enough. Now Saturn coverage is a different matter . . . .

Does the PS1 get that much coverage?

I'm all for more PS1 coverage...and Saturn too for that matter! And yeah, reading a "Making Of Silent Bomber" would be awesome! Or Bishi Bashi Special, One Piece Mansion, Incredible Crisis....etc...

I really don't think there is that much PSX coverage as it is, but I would be happy with more Saturn stuff too.

What I'd really like to see though is some full Making Ofs for handheld games. It seems that just because a game is on a handheld system, it isn't seen as deserving of a full 4 page feature of its own. Which is bullshit!

It's called Retro Gamer by the way, there are still new games coming out for the PS2.

This.

To be fair, the likes of the recent 'Lynx Effect' and Virtual Boy features were pretty damn good but, as you say, seeing some 'Making of...' articles on handheld games would be a great thing to see.

(None of that monochrome screen GameBoy tat, mind!)

I would welcome more PS1 and 2 articles.
I'm a collector of both with several hundred games between the two systems and personally I consider both retro... and i'm a Saturn collector I would welcome more articles from that system also.

It's tricky I suppose as there is so much to cover!
