I think a slight problem here is that most of us on this forumn would probably like to sit and watch all the recorded interviews, not just the bits edited into the film.
yes i have a sig.

Indeed, which is why they decided to do a Special Edition with several hours more. It's very expensive, but since this stuff is a big part of my life, and it's the UK perspective, I couldn't talk myself out of it.

The new newsletter sent out has whetted the appetite. It sounds terrific!
The good news is early backers can upgrade to a special edition if they wish. But it sounds fantastic either way.
A little disappointing in release date is back again, to late March '14. But worth the wait by the sounds

I watched the four bonus clips the other day, and the extra 10 min one from the newsletter earlier today. It's looking good.

And delayed again by the sounds. This is getting ****ing ridiculous

Re: 'Bedrooms to Billions' film project - how you can help!
I might have missed something, but where is this "delayed again" story coming from?
We get a newsletter tomorrow, so we'll get an update then.

I can understand the delays & that they want to get it perfect.
I can also feel my enthusiasm for the project ebbing slightly with each subsequent delay.
They seem to have SOOOOOO much material now I really wish they would do a series, at this rate it'll be out in a few years time with about 30 seconds on each subject.

Okay, I messaged them on FB to ask specifically about these delays rumours (and since then have had the newsletter update).
The delay rumours kicking around are untrue, although the official release date is xmas and there will be a UK theatre release prior to that.
The preorders/backers go out from June by what the newsletter was saying. So a little later than March, but not the delay till xmas thing being thrown around.
A little frustrating still, due to us all chomping at the bit to see it. Tis been a long time coming, but just sounds fab.

I can understand the delays and don't begrudge them at all. I'm happy for them to take as long as they need.
Knitting together something of such complexity and magnitude is going to have a lot of hidden time costs. Even addressing something small can lose hours of your day. Also factor in the problem of burn-out. Making something creative that's coherent requires a lot of personal energy.
The other problem, one that's inherent in crowd-funding, is the culture and expectation of stretch-goals, or the desire to increase the quantity. Everything acquired requires an exponentially greater amount of time to prepare it for consumption.
Human beings need days off. They need time for their brains and bodies to mend, to re-energise. I am certain that since the beginning of this, every waking moment and thought of the B2B team has been on the project. Even during those moments when they're not directly working on it, it will be there, in the back of their mind, like an invisible yoke.
Keep on trucking guys.

Re: 'Bedrooms to Billions' film project - how you can help!
Just thought I'd bump this to the top, got an update newsletter a couple of weeks ago, although it didn't say a lot. Went into the work required for such a project and the issues it's a team of two...but no release date yet (and a few more asking on FB about that elusive date), and you kind of get the feeling the detail newsletter about the work behind it is preparing all for a little push back on the date it's being sent out. Oh well.
Think it's probably time to just say enough and get it out, so if it is pushed back I'm hoping it'd only be several weeks at the absolute most. It needs releasing even for the sake of their own sanity!
