Those that pledged over £120. I do think they'd have got more money with better-placed pledge levels... I mean, I'd love the Special Edition, but I'd already pledged £80 for the BluRay and signed soundtrack CD, and I simply couldnt go any higher than that.
I'm looking forward to it a lot, though, and now I'll see if I can become the most high profile currently active retro games project instead! :P

I agree, although a unique product and we all want to see it, I thought some of the levels were pretty steep, and ultimately had there been some more reasonably priced pledge levels IMO a ton more people would have jumped on board. If the special edition is available as a purchase all good(and if the price is reasonable), if not, thems the breaks. I wasn't going to pledge 120quid just to get a two disc DVD. Like Craig I wasn't really interested in paying more than DVD only, and even then I thought the price was a little steep. I know it's a limited run, I know there was various legal requirements to cover, it still seemed a little more than was necessary. Even the coffee cups are a hefty pricetag
It's a great product we're all looking forward to though, of course. :)

It's always had an estimated delivery of September, though we haven't had an update for a month. I'd expect it to be a bit later than September.

They're still interviewing, so you would suspect it might take them a bit longer to pull it all together. With over 100 people interviewed so far, it's going to be tough to do everyone justice!

It's been moved to late December, as they have loads more interviews happening all the time (from initially 20-30 to about 100 overall). As I said, I expected it to be later, and it'll be better, so I have no problem with that.

Researching the archives has also taken longer that they thought.

By the sounds of it they could make a 12 part TV series rather than a one-off film with the amount of material they appear to have gathered.

Maybe they could so a spin off series.

That actually sounds like a really good idea.

There's definitely enough interview footage for a series, it's just the problem of getting a channel to commission it, which they won't. They wouldn't pay for a one hour doc., so they wouldn't pay for a series. Gaming isn't popular enough, as no-one plays games and it doesn't make any money, unlike music and film. Oh, wait...

True, it would be difficult to get it commissioned, but the success of the crowdfunding efforts may convince someone to take a punt on it.

A several part series is good on one hand, but I still like the idea of buying it as soon as it's out rather than waiting for TV to show it etc. Knowing NZ they'd have it on the subscribe Arts channel
