Still not arrived.....
And neither have a few others judging by the FaceBook page. I think it was a bit naive of them to claim orders made by Sat 20th December would be delivered before Xmas.

Mine arrived yesterday:) had very good customer service of them also when I emailed they replied back straight away
"Crush the Old Order and CREATE A NEW SOCIETY!"

No sign of my copy yet either.
Re: 'Bedrooms to Billions' film project - how you can help!
New update today says they are all posted, so it's in the pile of xmas deliveries. So that's good news to know that.
It did add the perks will be dealt with shortly though, as the priority was to get the Discs on the way.

I was just going to ask if those that had received there's were the standard edition ones, obviously not then. I've had two lots of post today but mine wasn't amongst them.
Splink!

My copy turned up yesterday, just in time! Pity one disc came loose in the post, hopefully it hasn't been scratched much.

Reversed the special edition cover. As much as the art work is nice it looks like I made the DVD myself! The reverse cover looks much more like a real / professional version.

Happy New Year all.
Just got back from our overnight trip for NY, surprised to find it sitting in the letterbox today (1st). Stoked to see it at last, and chuffed at the speed of the delivery.
The bad news...I actually ordered the Spec Ed DVD...and received the Blu ray
Shouldn't complain of course, mistake is in my favour for sure. But don't have a BR player. So will probably just use this time to upgrade the lounge set up, or even just get a cheap player to watch this, and save the hassle of swops etc. Not a massive deal, just happy it's here and will get the chance to see it.

Went out and bought a cheap BR, so I could watch...with this and the Space Invaders set, that brings my BR collection up to 2
Anyway, watched the main feature and had a quick look at some of disc 2's snippets. Thoroughly enjoyed it, it is basically what I was hoping it would be

Mine turned up today as well, for some reason I got the dvd and blu ray versions, thought I'd only paid for the one, both had a loose disc in.Mayhem wrote:My copy turned up yesterday, just in time! Pity one disc came loose in the post, hopefully it hasn't been scratched much.

Wanted to buy the special edition blu ray...looks at website .........£50 quid. LOL
They surely think highly of their content don't they...
I'll show them just how highly I think of that price by waiting for the good ol' fashion way of watching it

Because of the limited audience, it costs more to get small runs of discs duplicated.samhain81 wrote:Wanted to buy the special edition blu ray...looks at website .........£50 quid. LOL

That attitude fails to recognise three years of hard work that have gone into this project, and the fact that pirating makes it less likely people will produce original content of this nature for people to watch.

I've bought plenty of blurays more limited than this, and have only set me back half that; most recent being the pinball documentary 'special when lit' on bluray which only cost me £18.merman wrote: Because of the limited audience, it costs more to get small runs of discs duplicated.
£50 bluray is ridiculous no matter how you slice it.

Was Special When Lit more limited? Pinball has a huge US audience compared to the UK retro scene.
