Had to use this as it looks like the copies of RG35 sent over on the Irish Ferry have been nicked .(No copies of it to be found anywhere in Dublin??)
Be curious to see how long it takes

Just ordered x2 of the new binders.

£8-99 for an introductory price is a little steep but if they're the same quality as the original ones I'll be happy.

I just ordered my bookazine from the e-shop. Now it's the hope and pray bit - will the magazine be trashed in the post as normal? (one of my binders didn't make it unscathed either, but as the damage is on the back I'm not too bothered)

Hmm... My subscription lapsed (closed cr*ppy HSBC account) - After re-subscribing (after realising why I've not had an issue for ages), I'm now told that I can't re-subscribe from my preferred issue (Missing Issue 40 onwards)!! - Have to have it from the new 42 onwards!

Bit pants that - When I first subscribed to RG under the old publisher, I could choose (as it was within reason I guess!) where I wanted my subscription to start, and they sent me the missed issue, and backdated my subscription from that issue...

Probably the wrong place to have a moan, but hey, looks like I'll have to pay full price for those 2 issues, when other that this I'm a long-term subscriber (haven't missed an issue luckily)...

The extra cost is a bit annoying, but the fact that the subscriptions system is so inflexible is what sticks! - We're all human and forget things, so it'd be very helpful to be able to specify an earlier subscription period (stock levels and realistic expectations/requests permitting, or course!) :o - PS - I also bought 4 binders at the same time as re-subscribing, so it was a £50 commitment in total... :P

Ahh well, my own stupid fault I guess...

Other than that - the actual mag itself is fantastic, and a great price when subscribing! - other than the woefully out-of-date hardware price list that hasn't changed since the 'Live' days!?!?! - If it's not updated (at all?), then I seriously dis-count it's current usefulness to either buyers or sellers, in what really is a volatile market!

I regularly check out/compare final prices on Ebay and dedicated websites (both as a seller and buyer), and the average seems FAR higher in most cases, than those listed in the mag (even counting the offset value/cost of bundled extras with certain listed items!)

PS - I also stuck my oar in at an otherwise OK forum where you were getting an (waaaaay unfair I thought!) slagging off.... So, I say keep up the good work guys!...

It's retro stuff. Everything is 10-20 years behind.
What's another 2 months...
