It's from the live era but I spotted this in my local PC World while picking up the Atari Flashback console for a tenner.

Yeah, I saw these in WHSmith a couple of weeks ago. Didn't buy them though, so can't answer your question.

AFAIK Live just licenced out their name and logo to the manufactuer but had nothing to do with the production of the actual disc.

There's a glowing review from Martyn on the back of them.

Spotted these in the PC World in Rotherham last week. Decided to have a look, but my god did the game's looks shockingly bad!

I'm not surprised to hear that, but it's certainly attributed to him, it runs along the lines of "Here at retro gamer we see a lot of modern remakes and most aren't good so we're proud to vouch for these ones as being the cream of gaming"

Yeah, I assumed Martyn's blurb was to be read as follows.

"Here at retro gamer we see a lot of modern remakes and most aren't good... AND HERE THEY ARE!"

Yeah, what merman said. This was discussed over at RS ages ago and Martyn had no input with what appeared on the cases. If I remember rightly he actually had very little, if any, input on these things at all. Like I said though, it was discussed a fair while ago.
