ZX Spectrum Book Update: (Kind of an advert, I guess... :( )

Post by andrew_rollings » Thu Dec 07, 2006 6:10 pm

I hate spamverts, so hopefully you guys will forgive me this one...

Someone over on the WOS forums told me that the info on the ZX Spectrum book (aka The ZX Spectrum Book- 1982 to 199x) in RetroGamer this month was a little vague, and suggested posting here with details on where to get it...

Well, if you want it, you can click on the link in my sig :)

That is all.

Thanks
Andrew

By the way... If anyone has any questions, this would be a good place to post 'em :)

Thanks
Andrew

I have a question. Why is your username 'andrew_rollings' and not 'Andrew Rollings'? Was it already taken?

Force of habit... :) I'm not used to spaces in usernames.

Have been "humming and harring" about getting your book since I first read about it over a year ago, but after reading the RG review I logged on and finally ordered a copy! Hey, it's Christmas after all and I was in the mood! *cough* Looking forward to reading it!

The review wasn't that vague. Certainly not as vague as the release date of the book ;)

Isn't there an extensive thread (or two) about the book here already? I'm pretty sure I've harassed you via here in the past.

Just been to the thread - the PDF preview links don't work. Could you post some valid links here please so I can have a little taster of whats inside?
As requested by the Tw@t himself - his account was Hijacked and has had a change of password.

It works for me. I've just tried the first link in the "March 28 Update" section.

Also, there are clickable pictures further down the page.

Global Priority Mail... Should get to most people a week or two after I send it... (except to places that won't accept Global Priority, of which I just found out Italy is one :P )

Yep... according the printer, I should get them on the 14th or the 15th...

I've emailed them for an update, so we'll see how they're doing :)
