Official Feedback Issue 100 + Issue 1

I flicked through TMR's copy yesterday and apart from the awful cover (great concept badly realised) it is a bloody fine issue. Some great articles that I look forward to reading.

Yeah, have to say cover did'nt do much for myself either, just looked way too cluttered, but everyones tastes vary.The articles however are superb this month.

never read issue 1....so the reprint is most appreciated, probably the second best gift i've got with a magazine (no1 is panzer dragoon disc one on sega saturn magazine)

Oh my word, what is that cover all about, am I missing something, is it one of those magic eye poster things with a secret message in it, or is it one of the worst RG covers ever. And why so many beat 'em up characters amongst the mayhem, why? Why?

Don't think much of that free issue one reprint either, the cover of mine was of a very poor quality, terrible reprint...

And where were my free stickers, I thought we were getting free stickers?

The cover is very 'busy', I do like the idea. Someone previously described it as 'Sgt Pepper'...I like that. But personally, I'd prefer Abbey Road! The famous crossing, and have four game characters walking across it...

Good issue guys, fantastic free gift for subscribers anyway! Thought the issue itself was ok, some nice features, though would have liked more best games or best games in categories instead of best moments, but ho hum cant have everything, i did enjoy the issue, but truth be told i spent more time reading issue 1, loved the old adverts pages!

I preferred best moments to yet another best of list, personally...

So do I; it's something just a little different. I have quite a few best of lists in various publications, this is not only a little different but even from reading the forum topic at the time evoked some cool gaming memories for me.

Honestly, some people just talk total rubbish when they have no real complaints.

I did wonder how you were going to top issue 99, but you managed it. Great selection of articles, and a top idea with the re-print!
The only way that Issue 101 is going to be able to keep up this pace, is if you somehow manage to get it to perform a rude act upon my person.

Love the cover, great idea for issue 100 doing the Sergent Peppers idea. Again its one of those things where if it was something else people would be criticising that so they cant win !

Thought it was a good idea for issue 100 though.

I'm fascinated with how the games are made, especially the really tricky machines like the Atari 2600.

If you like that Atari 2600 stuff, you'd love 'Racing the beam', it's absolutely fantastic!

Cover - A terrible mess bordering on amateurish

Content - Great, one of the best issues for a while.

Issue 1 reprint - great idea but having to pay extra for something I don't need isn't ideal

Loving the issue so far, and to get a reprint of issue 1 (for someone who doesnt have it) is a great bonus.

Yeah I remember at the time it didn't go down well as people wanted it to look nice - they changed that by issue 2 I think.
