A terrific acheivement, and the only magazine I purchase today. Greedily, I hope that RG lasts 100 issues more! At LEAST!

"This is the offices of Retro Gamer magazine. Sorry no one is available to take your call right now, but we're both having a jolly busy time trying to put everything together for the celebratory issue #100. Noses to the grindstone and all that. Please leave your message after the tone!"
*beeeeeeeep*
This had better be good... England expects et cetera... massive congratulations are in order for bringing Retro Gamer kicking and screaming into triple figures. Did you expect that to happen six years ago when Imagine bought the rights to the magazine? I think we're all a little bit older, a little bit wiser, and a little bit thankful for such an excellent publication continuing to exist. And I'm not just saying that because I freelance, I say that because I mean it. Here's to the next hundred issues and wherever she may travel.

Anywho, huge thanks to everyone involvded for the blood, sweat and possibly tears, involved in bringing out such a superb publication each and every month. The sheer juggling act of deciding what's going in each month, must be a 'mare...
Remember lads (and lasses...) Beware the moon, stay off the moors and here's to issue 200 (and i want to see that in printed form, not some ruddy App.as well...

Congrats on reaching 100 marvellous issues. Always good to read about your fave retro machines and games as well as those you don't really know. Let's hope there is no end in sight to this formula.
Re: From the forum - Retro Gamer turns 100

It amazes me that a magazine can be devoted to such a niche hobby and still be on the shelves every month. Then I pick up my latest copy and remember why.
Nice one guys.

For years I missed having a games mag that I WANTED to read... Stumbling across RG in my local newsagents has since brought years of happiness!
Here's to another 100!

Re: From the forum - Retro Gamer turns 100
I remember seeing one copy left of Issue 1 in WH Smith all those years ago and I decided not to get it as it looked all tatty. Little did I know that it was the intentions of the designer to make the front cover look that way! So I missed it in the shops and managed to get it on Ebay before the prices went through the roof.
Since then, I've got all issues since launch, so here's to issue 100 and may the brilliant mag continue as long as Maria makes room for Willy!

100 and going strong. It's the only magazine that keeps my joystick waggling....or is it?
Congratulations to everyone involved in keeping this fab mag on the shelves every month.

Thanks for the articles that keep encouraging me to splash money on ebay
. Seriously though, congrats on making the 100 and I hope there'll be plenty more retro goodness in the years to come.

Retro is a state of mind, and cares not for your puny concepts like dates and calendars.
Re: From the forum - Retro Gamer turns 100
Congrats on the big 100!!
The only mag that comes close to capturing the heady days of Zzap! etc...
As a testament to this, yours is the only mag I subscribe to!!
