Forgot it was that time already ! Great to see Metal Slug on the cover, been playing that loads due to iMame. Be interesting to see what Bruce.E says, no doubt blaming kids at school for the demise of every software house in the 80's and probably blames us all for global warming as well.

Looks like another class issue. Well done.

Quick question - is there a reason why subscriber copies are no longer delivered in advance of being available in the shops? Sometimes it's even later than the shops. This started about 3 months ago. Beforehand it was always delivered 3-5 days before the shops had it.

I've no idea. Your best bet is to ask in the subs thread. Lucy is pretty good at replying quickly.

Metal Slug....Pah waste of a cover.

Wonderboy in Monsterland and Alone in the Dark coverage more than makes up for it.

^Waste of a cover ?

Nah i love it, love the game, its a very popular title so should do well in the US as well

Just received my subscriber copy this morning. Just having a flick through...

Be interesting to see how that GameGadget does, cheap price but depends on how much the games will be.
Like the big article on Metal Slug, just been getting into these games on MAME again recently
Never was a fan of Alone in the dark but i'll give the article a go, might get me wanting to try that game
Good article on Rainbird Software
Good Gamegear article, never had one but my best mate did, brings back memories seeing some of those titles
History of Space Harrier, going to love this one !
Making of Splat seems interesting !
Bruce Everiss interview, booo hiss ;)
Great to see Dingo get a good review

I'm not taken with the cover either, but then it's not a game I've played much. Every man's crap cover is another man's wet dream!

Had a quick read this morning, I think the balace of the magazine is really great at the moment - something from each era which is great as the 80s satisfies my nostalgia and 90s stuff satisfies my curiousity. (I am having an off day spelling wise)
