Its hard to pick a favourite but I know it'd be one with correct grammar and spelling ;)

Possibly issue 1 as it started it all, or issue 19 for the rubber revival.

hmm.. I don't really think I have a favourite. I just love reading about the games, dipping in and always finding something interesting. Cover-wise though, the Monkey Island edition looks so tremendous that I even like to lick it sometimes -- just a gentle, little lick, not a big slurp or anything. I like to imagine its like that wallpaper in 'Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory'.

Was that the 'Gaming Illuminati' article? Issues 34 and 35 I think :) . Really interesting and fascinating piece that was.

Close—that issue with the Sensi piece was way back in issue 43.

Yup, the one with DK on the cover is definitely the one that sticks in my mind, my favourite retro handheld (the Lynx) Diablo, Sensi, Bullfrog & DK, loads of great great features that issue.

Other ones that stick out are the Afterburner cover issue, which is probably my favourite, with Crash & ToeJam & Earl and loads of other things.

The one with Rainbow Islands on the cover, the Isometric issue and Missile Command also get the nod in my top 5. :D

Can't remember them all, but issue 74 (I think) is by far the best of the more recent ones.

Double Dragon, Spy vs Spy, New Zealand Story, Ghosts n Goblins, Tapper all in the same issue, as well as interviews with David Braben and Jon Hare, from what I remember they even managed to sneak MW2 in, brillinat stuff!!

Issue 50 because it was the first one I ever bought, had a feature on Gunstar Heroes (no surprise there), had a nice Dreamcast feature and it also had Lemmy form Motorhead!

Also really like any issues with PC Engine features. Changing the subject anybody willing to sell me a copy of issue 44? Really want it for the Might and Magic feature. PM with a sensible price :D

I was just going to say that! Superb layout, just perfect! The Galaxians one os another great one that springs to mind, but we had a batch of about 5 or 6 months of issues were RG's civer designer went into creative overdrive and produced some fabulous covers. As to the one with the best content - now that's a different story entirely.

This one immediately came to mind, it was a great article, I'd never normally say this but any chance of an update/reprint?
Or the Atari 8 bit ones (both the future and live), hey! I was an Atari Kid , and it doesn't get too much coverage (arguably rightly so given its small Uk user base), and anything about the likes of the XL is always a bit special for me.Or the gauntlet one (whatever happened to the DS gauntlet anyway ...and er any chance of sticking the review cart on ebay? ;) )Or the '25 years of Mario' cover one, seeing as I finally got something printed!
