Re: From the forum Issue 93
Really, REALLY tough question; but I would have to plump for Super Metroid. Incredibly atmospheric, highly polished and a memorable experience from start to finish.

A terrible choice, but Killer Instinct.
It was the only game where I could kick the tar out of everybody. Most people didn't bother to learn it because it wasn't that good.

There are far too many to pick from. Chrono Trigger.

I never got into the SNES, I was more into SEGA until the Wii came along. I am now playing many games on emulation now, so may have a favourate in a few years time.

Cybernator'll do for me - they used to have a SNES in the barber shop, and I'd play Cybernator whilst waiting for a haircut. Fun until some little bleeders robbed the thing.
My comics blog (mostly lesser-known UK stuff from the 80s and 90s)

Really hard question to answer. I can think of five straight away but I will go with Starwing.

Super Mario World! FZero! Super Mario Kart! Star Fox/Star Wing! This truly a tough one
It's so hard to choose, so many great games and my favourite of console!

Edit: I forgot Yoshi's Island, Pilot Wings and the various high quality Street Fighter 2 ports!

Re: From the forum Issue 93
Most of the good ones are taken, but Super Bomberman seems to be somewhat lacking in this list so far.
A great laugh with 4 players, if you can get them. I still have 4 pads and a multitap just for this!
Honorary mentions go to the Super Star Wars and the Desert Strike sets of games.

Starfox sums up my SNES memories form when I was a kid. The game & the system showed what the MegaDrive couldn't do. Do a barrel roll!

My favourite game of all time is Super Mario World. Even today it's such a large game with many hours of gameplay to be had. Very replayable...
Re: From the forum Issue 93
I was loving my AMIGA back then but the awesomeness of CHRONO TRIGGER simply blew me away. It still is one of the most brilliant RPG's ever!

Re: From the forum Issue 93
There's so many great games for the SNES, many of which I'd describe as 'perfect'.
Super Punch Out
Super Metroid
Super Mario World/Kart
ActRaiser
F-Zero
Zelda ALTTP
But I'll go for Chrono Trigger.

StarWing (StarFox), the reason to buy a SNES IMHO!
