Re: From the forum Issue 93
Plok was the only platformer on any console I was jealous of as a Mega Drive owner in the mid 90s. DKC, Super Mario World and Disney's Magical Quest were all good and well, but Plok really stood out; it was such a vibrant, well-rounded game with an absolutely brilliant soundtrack.

Re: From the forum Issue 93
Hardest question in gaming for me to answer as in all honesty I really could not pick a favourite game for the SNES as there are just too many great games.
I doubt I could even pick a top 50 there is that many.

Easy. Unirally. Best multiplayer of all time, in my opinion - with two players of equal skill it's so tense, and the amount of swearing it causes is hilarious. Great music too. Have to mention A Link to the Past as well though, a close second. By far the best Zelda game.

Alien 3-Different kettle of Xenomorph to the MD version, fantastic atmosphere, fantastic use of the film material.Mr Do! not far behind, with Plok! for the audio vote.

Kind of like asking who is your favourite child, but I wouldn't have a problem with that - the one that works the hardest. That said, I simply would not be able to go past Super Mario World.

Super Probotector, now that was a game and half, stunning graphics and great use of The Snes Mode 7 graphics abilities.

Super Mario RPG. It was a fantastic pairing of Nintendo and Square that gave us the spiritual predecessor to both the Paper Mario and Mario & Luigi games.

Although I've never actually played it on the SNES, it would still have to be Final Fantasy VI.

Pilot Wings. Breathtaking gameplay, beautiful graphics and a dificulty curve that is nigh-on perfect. The first non-platform game that showed us Amiga owners what we were missing out on.
