yeah it's sad :( we've had at least 20 issues since then and buying old issues in the 50s and 60s is getting difficult and expensive, I should know, I've been doing it for the last few months (i missed a few during that period for various reasons, very foolish, be advised, even if you don't like the look of it in Smiths, buy that issue anyway, because you might not get another chance for a while).

Given that they're already digitised for the ipad app, I can only assume it's the deal with that app stopping it since otherwise "Jam them on a sodding DVD" shouldn't take 2 years.

I can bet almost certainly these Imagine DVD's are in the past, because they know they can make a LOT more money selling individual Ipad issues, and have more control over illegal copies and sharing of the pdfs. Kind of sad, I liked reading those old issues on the computer, no way I'm buying an overpriced Ipad, THEN buying each issue individually for almost what a hard copy costs. :(

Thats the thing, i want to buy lots of ebooks etc but often the price is practically the same as the actual book itself which is frustrating.

Can see why there might not be an emag volume 3 as people will simply take the PDF's off the cd and put them on their latest gadget.

That's because our lovely government doesn't consider eBooks books but instead, hilariously, considers them as paying for bandwidth and thus a service.

So eBooks attract the full 20% VAT when normal books are 0%.

Well it looks like it's finally arriving in the form of a Christmas DVD. With issues 56 to 80, it'll definitely be on my christmas list. :D :D :D :D :D

Is this a joke? Where did you see that? I'd quite like one myself - the current two volumes are most handy for quick referencing when looking up information.

Do you have an online link to the store selling the 3rd volume?

Not a joke, there was a recent Imagine Shop newsletter mail that mentioned this as upcoming.
