That's one box I wouldn't mind opening
Probably a bit musty now though. :D

Mine was finally getting my very own speccy +2, with robocop, back 2 skool and treasure island dizzy to play.

I still make sure I play them at least once during the xmas season.

Had loads of gaming goodies for Christmas:
1995 - PlayStation (shared with my brother)
1998 - Game Boy Color
1999 - Dreamcast
2008 - PSP
2009 - Wii
Had loads of games and peripherals as well, like a Game Boy Camera, Soulcalibur II (and yes, it IS one word), Pro Evo 5 and well, I can't remember anything else. my siblings have had Game Boys, DSs, a Saturn, Master System, PS2, PS3 and a GameCube as well as getting what I got.

Best prezzie was my Atari 800XL and 1050 disk drive, one minor niggle though - the bundled software consisted of some crappy text adventure who's name escapes me. Was it beyond the realms of posibility to include at least a level 9 adventure ?

For me it would be 2 Amstrad CPC games, Double Dragon & the "Heroes" compilation. This was a REALLY big deal for me as no one was selling Amstrad games in Australia anymore at that time.

Blimey, tough choice... I liked getting my Spectrum, but then I also liked getting my Amiga a few years later. But which was better? There's only one way to find out... FIIIIIGHT!

Why, a subscription to RetroGamer of course. What else could there be?

My actual best Christmas was the one where the family got a commodore 64... I genuinely never thought my parents would spring for one, so it was a completely delightful suprise. Good times.

Getting my precious Amiga 500, complete with two Competition Pro Star joysticks (transparent blue with silver fire buttons and auto-fire feature)...and two quite crappy games! I guess my parents didn't know that much about good games...

Finally getting my own copy of the long-awaited Megadrive port of Street Fighter II CE, after having rented it out from the video shop so many times. Granted, it had turned out to be a pretty disappointing conversion, but I still played it to death.

They're maybe not as bad as they seem,

Your problems are another man's dream.
